Prayer and Fasting 365 “Building and Planting”
“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will plant….Just as I watched over them to uproot and tear down, and to overthrow, destroy and bring disaster, so I will watch over them to build and to plant,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 31:27a, 28
At the end of 2011 God spoke to me through Jeremiah 1:10 about 2012 being a year of “building” and “planting.” He said that these are prophetically being revealed by the fact that we are “building” a place to worship in and we are “planting” a new church in South Africa.
So when I read these words from Jeremiah 31 on my P&F365 day (13 Feb), they struck a chord in my spirit! Again God is confirming His desire to build us up and plant us in this season. He specifically said, “I am building my people this year and specifically building them in their ministries. I am planting people in ONE Church this year.”
I was then led to Psalm 92 that says,
“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God…” (12-13)
Thank You, Father for a season of building and planting! We agree with You and ask You to build us up in our most holy faith and in the assignments that you have for each of us. Plant us in Your house so that we might flourish for Your Glory! Amen!
